This pilot is designed to support economic development in our community and strengthen our local business's capacity to develop and retain a skilled workforce. This pilot is being managed in partnership between the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation, FutureSSM, the Sault Ste. Marie Local Immigration Partnership and the Sault Community Career Centre.

National Occupational Classification 2021


On November 16, 2022, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will be switching to the 2021 version of the National Occupational Classification (NOC). We’ll post information on this site in August 2022 about how this will affect the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP).
