AWIC conducts research to gather information on labour market trends, shares findings with the community partners and stakeholders in communication consultations, creates a community plan of action in consultation with key partners and stakeholders, and facilitates collaborative partnerships to address identified labour market issues.

Employment Solutions one-one-one job search services, resume writing workshops, job fairs, on-the-job training opportunities, and access to e-mail and/or voice mail boxes, computers, the internet, fax and photocopy equipment to support your job search.

Indigenous Friendship Centre

Sault Ste. Marie’s Indigenous Friendship Centre offers many employment and training services for urban Indigenous peoples.

Professions North/Nord (PNN)

Professions North/Nord  (PNN) assists internationally trained professionals (ITPs) find employment in Northern Ontario and employers find qualified candidates. PNN has specialized in ITPs reach their career goals by bridging the gap between education, experience, culture and employment. Their goal is to help ITPs acquire the information, training and resources they need to be successful in securing a career in their field in Northern Ontario.

Sault Community Career Centre

The Sault Community Career Centre is a not-for-profit support service agency that provides personalized services to assist job seekers, employers and newcomers achieve their professional goals.

Sault College Student Job Centre

The Sault College Student Job Centre offers employment services for Sault College post-secondary students and alumni, and acts as the hub for information and resources in regards to employment needs. Services include cover letter, resume, interview and job search assistance, one-on-one meetings with the Student Employment Officer, and job postings for on-campus, full-time, part-time and summer employment.  They also offer telephone and computer access as well as faxing services for your own job search.
