We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Sr Manager Digital Infrastructure to assess, design, develop and plan for new and enhanced technology infrastructure solutions of a high complexity and impact to the organization. The role partners with business and technology leaders to define business requirements that meet business strategies and objectives. As a senior member of the team, the role contributes to the evolution of the Digital Infrastructure function by recommending alternate infrastructure technologies and improvement. The role provides guidance, feedback and effective leadership to the Digital Infrastructure team. .
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the Director, Digital Solutions Testing, you will be empowered to:
- Develop and design technology infrastructure solutions in accordance with business requirements, including configuration and development of new systems.
- Plan and implement changes to existing technology infrastructure systems (e.g., upgrades, new releases, optimization).
- Provide technical infrastructure solutions and recommendations for technical projects and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration repositories to ensure centralized monitoring and management.
- Analyze existing systems and business requirements to ensure performance, capacity, and integration of new hardware, operating systems, or connectivity solutions.
- Support the change and release management process, including defining release strategy, task planning, service readiness, acceptance, and service transition.
- Manage releases to production and test environments.
- Provide tier two and three digital technology support, including on-call support to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Identify and resolve problems proactively through continuous system monitoring and by integrating customer feedback into solutions.
- Monitor the technology stack overview and oversee the health of the entire solution.
- Coordinate support between vendors and internal teams.
- Aim for first call resolution goals.
- Oversee disaster recovery plans and testing.
- Perform change impact assessments for releases.
- Maintain and support a knowledge base.
- Stay updated with industry best practices.
- Manage a team responsible for Cloudflare support and holding pages in production.
- Lead the team providing Tier 2 support for Adobe Target, Bet Buddy, and Paysafe.
- Oversee the team managing microsites, which are smaller sites at OLG, including vendor management.
- Supervise the team handling app store accounts and overseeing releases to production.
- Direct the team responsible for data feed support and maintenance, including vendor management
- Maintain a knowledge base to achieve first-call resolution goal.
- Oversee capacity planning, scalability, and disaster recovery plans and testing.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY
Work Experience: ● Minimum 5 to 7 years’ progressive experience in medium to large Technology environments including experience in Technology Infrastructure or related function ● Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in solution infrastructure design, development and/or delivery ● Experience designing, integrating and managing complex multiple infrastructure solutions ● Provide Subject Matter Expertise and/or guidance to junior members of the team on multiple infrastructure technologies/platforms
Education: ● post-secondary degree, preferably in an information systems, business administration discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience ● Considered an Asset: Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification; Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) OR Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE); Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator OR Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect
Primary Knowledge: ● Infrastructure Architecture (network, server, storage) ● Solution Architecture (SA) ● Technology Infrastructure Design (Physical) ● Cloud Computing (Azure, AWS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) ● Server hardware Infrastructure (x86, Cisco UCS, Pseries, HP Integrity) ● Server Virtualization technologies (VMWare) ● Server Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, AIX, OpenVMS) ● Networking and Telecommunications (Cisco, F5) ● Enterprise Storage and Backup (Dell/EMC Unity, Data Domain, Avamar) ● Knowledge of Active Directory and protocols ● Knowledge of DNS services ● Network Security ● Information System Security ● Agile Processes and Tools ● System Development Life Cycle ● Cloudflare ● Adobe Target, Campaign Manager, Experience Manager (nice to have) ●Dynatrace
