We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Finance Project Delivery Manager to provide project leadership by ensuring consistent project management approach from intake process to delivery working collaboratively with relevant work streams and Senior Leaders across the Division.
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the Director Finance Project Delivery, you will be empowered to:
- Lead the initiation, planning and execution of projects for, or on behalf, of Finance; create and manage project plans, ensure resources are in place, identify and manage risks, ensure a strong communication plan and manage execution for successful delivery against project objectives
- Lead and manage assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle, supplying leadership and direction to project team members where necessary
- Ensure alignment across functions, maintain knowledge of current status, milestones issues and key data as it applies to Finance, raising issues in a timely manner for action and/or resolution
- Facilitate and coordinate all business meetings, managing the agenda, capturing & tracking action items to ensure they are completed by the relevant owner(s).
- Establish effective, accurate and timely communication within cross-functional teams and Finance senior leadership, including the development of presentations
- Facilitate post-project learnings and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Assist with Business Case development for Finance projects, including ROI/payback calculations
- Prepare and maintain project budget, including forecasting of project costs to ensure costs remain within approved budget
- Manage and/or oversee the testing of new products/games, working in conjunction with various subject matter experts to ensure Finance needs are met
- Contribute to and assist in the development of new processes or analyze current processes and develop enhancements to create efficiencies
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY
Work Experience: 3-5 years of relevant project mgmt. and delivery experience in the finance domain
Education: Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project lifecycle
Critical Skills:
– Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively, with experience succeeding in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to define and prioritize initiatives while working cross-functionally and managing complex stakeholder relationships
– Strong cross-functional team management and project skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once
– Superior problem solving and analytical skills
– Strong communication and presentation skills
– Technology proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Power BI, One Plan, Microsoft Office suite
– Ability to track the interactions and interdependencies of a number of initiatives within and outside an organization
– A predisposition for action
– Highly organized and detail oriented
– Passion for change, continuous improvement; Knowledge and practical experience in designing, mapping, implementing and optimizing business processes to enhance operational efficiencies, effectiveness, quality, to drive results
