Purpose

The Supply Chain Planning Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring the efficient management of resources. This position is essential for driving profitability, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the overall strategic goals of the company.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to performance and process improvement projects by analyzing identified investment opportunities and needs, addressing procedural gaps, designing and developing execution tools, and leading necessary analyses.
  • Provides Tenaris and Supply Chain performance optimization collecting information of the control areas of different regions, analyzing and creating improvement proposals, monitoring execution milestones and identifying key issues.
  • Establishes a Management Control framework for the Supply Chain by identifying variables, interfaces, control points, standards definitions, and available information. Monitors the budget to identify deviations and oversee budgetary processes.
  • Collaborates in generating standards for Supply Chain processes and procedures by analyzing existing processes, procedures, and standards, and assists in improving them.
  • Work with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
  • Facilitates the exchange of knowledge by designing and developing flexible support tools.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse of the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other supply chain management software.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills and Exposure to Power BI and SQL.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
