In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education (Stream 1 and Stream 2)
A degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience

Degree equivalency

Experience (Stream 1 and Stream 2)
E1 – Experience developing or editing communications products for various audiences.
(Such as: news articles or releases, backgrounders, Q&As, key messages, media advisories, speeches, speaking notes, scripts, articles, social media content, digital content, blogs, etc.)

E2 – Experience providing advice related to communications plans, projects, activities or event planning.

E3 – Experience working with a variety of clients, partners, stakeholders or multi-functional teams on communications plans, projects, activities or events.

Experience (Stream 2 only)
E4 – Experience in developing and implementing communications plans.

E5 – Experience in coordinating communications projects in collaboration with internal and/or external partners.

Asset Qualifications (Stream 1 and Stream 2)
AE1 – Experience in media monitoring.

AE2 – Experience in corporate social media.

AE3 – Experience in organizing and coordinating internal or external events.

AE4 – Experience in preparing products to support issues management efforts such as media lines, backgrounders and responses to journalists’ questions.

AE5 – Experience with publishing and content-management features of Microsoft SharePoint.

AE6 – Experience posting and managing content on corporate Intranet.

Asset Qualifications (Stream 2 only)
AE1 – Experience in media relations, including acting as a departmental media spokesperson, providing strategic advice on media issues.

AE2 – Experience creating, producing and delivering media-related products and services such as media advisories, news releases, backgrounders and media lines
