Reporting to the Dietary Manager, the Dietary Supervisor position is a temp full time position for 18 months and is accountable for all aspects of dietary services within the home to meet the nutritional needs of residents, and to ensure the effective and efficient preparation and delivery of food to the residents.
Duties:
- The person will Plan, organize, and provide high quality dietary services for all residents. They will select, supervise and motivate dietary staff; ensure dietary staff works as a team, ensure high level of productivity and ensure best use of staff capabilities.
- Ensure that the environment of all food preparation and storage areas meets Public Health requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Current membership in the Canadian Society of Nutritional Management (C.S.N.M.) or completion of a Nutrition and Food Services Management Program
- Experience in dietary management and Long term care and experience managing employees within a unionized setting or understanding of contracts
