The Opportunity
Supporting as both a chair-side and floating assistant.
Preparing patients for dental treatments by ensuring their comfort.
Handing instruments to the dentist or hygienist during procedures.
Providing suction to keep the area dry during procedures.
Sterilizing and disinfecting dental instruments and equipment.
Setting up and organizing dental operatories and equipment for procedures.
Providing post-operative care instructions to patients.
Assisting in fabricating dental appliances, such as whitening trays or mouthguards.
Ensuring dental supplies and equipment are well-stocked and in working order.
Monitoring patient comfort during procedures, offering reassurance as needed.
Working closely with the dentist, dental hygienists, and office staff to ensure a seamless workflow.
Following strict infection control procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
What You Bring to the Table
Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program is preferred.
Dental Assistant Certification (such as CDA I/II or equivalent) and HARP Certification are a plus, but not required.
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
