As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario, we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a Learning & Development Specialist.
The Learning & Development Specialist supports strategic sales growth by developing people through impactful training on lending products, systems, and processes. This role focuses on coaching and skill-building to strengthen sales effectiveness, enhance member service, and build confidence in cross-selling and referral practices. By partnering closely with lending and credit teams, the Specialist fosters a strong learning culture that supports exceptional member experiences, reinforces organizational values, and enables long-term individual and organizational success.
Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of lending, financial planning, insurance, and sales concepts is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional sales and service experiences
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Training or learning and development experience is considered an asset
- Proficient in common computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Confident and adaptable, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Brings energy and enthusiasm while actively contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented culture
