Job Description:
We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join the team of a rapidly growing business. As the Accounting Supervisor, you will report directly to the CFO and are responsible for overseeing the work of the Accounting Clerks.

The Duties of this Position Include:
• Monitor daily performance of the accounting department
• Overseeing daily transactions (e.g. accounts payable, receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliation)
• Oversee monthly remittances
• Participating in payroll
• Preparing budget reports and forecast revenues
• Manage month-end and year-end closing
• Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
• Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
• Establish accounting policies and procedures aligned with company’s targets
• Ensure compliance with law
• Analyzing invoice and expense reports and recording entries
• Collections
• Verifies customer/vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
• Protect organization`s value by keeping information confidential
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
Requirements:
• University or College degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations
• Proven experience in QuickBooks or Sage
• Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and Word
• Be able to manage a team
• Strong analytical skills to create detailed financial reports and forecasts
• Manage large amounts of data
• Problem solving skills
• Ensure financial management is accurate and effective
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize work
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify and resolve any minor conflicts as they arise
• Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by recommending and helping implement improvements to processes
